You know you have that one piece of clothing you just can’t stop wearing? Right, this #girlpower t-shirt instantly became that for me! What can I say, I just like my tee’s with a message! Be a proud feminist and support your local girl gang!
I have been reaching for this t-shirt more than anything for the past couple of months… I’m almost thankful for that day in Lisbon (when I was desperately looking for a hat that doesn’t scream TOURIST to protect myself from the sun stroke that was about to hit me). I went into Pull&Bear with the hopes of finding a decent hat and of course only came out with two tshirts- one that boyfriend absolutely hates, and this, which he absolutely loves- classic! Scoring this tee almost made me forgot about my original quest… In case you’re wondering, yes, I found a hat- the exact same straw hat that I’ve been wearing the whole summer, but the smaller version- sun stroke averted!
The reason that I feel in love with this t-shirt instantly is rather obvious; I’m all for female empowerment! As a proud feminist, I couldn’t let go of the t-shirt of my back-in-the-university-studying-gender-studies-self’s dreams!
Before I turn this into a full-on essay on feminism, can we also talk about that patent goodness, please? I’m always on the hunt for boots and coats in the beginning of autumn, I just can’t help it! Fresh season, warm clothes… Best way to prepare myself for the tough months ahead (COLD!!!) without moaning too much about end of sweet summer! So after confirming the heel hight was somewhere I-can-spend-my-day-in-these-without-regret-wearing-them, I knew we were the right match! Love the fact they’re patent- something a little different to spice up things. Also the big fan of the zip + ring detail! Ankle boots and straight leg jeans = my autumn/winter uniform!
I love me a good ol’ long line blazer! I’m incredibly picky with blazers- right tailoring, the material and the length. This pied-de-poule blazer is the perfect piece to style a graphic tee to achieve that good mix of basic/sporty meets classic! I’m all for that laid-back yet put-together look!
So, what do you think of this lewk? What are your thoughts on my favourite ever t-shirt? Also, let me know what type of boot game you’re feeling for this autumn/winter? Patent, velvet?
