5 Things⎜May Favourites

May_2016_Favorites, May_Beauty_Product_Favorites

May has been rather an exciting month in the beauty department- from skincare to perfumes, you can tell that I’m all for summer because it was all about the freshness and the colour here! Without further ado, here are my 5 Things for May Favourites…

I have raved about Emma Hardie’s Moringa Cleansing Balm on Twitter for numerous amount of times and it’s all for a reason- this baby right here, is a total game changer! I try my darnest best to take off my makeup before bed, and occasionally I’m guilty of feeling too lazy to remove my makeup. So I’m all for anything that cuts corners when it comes to removing makeup! Tiny bit goes along the way; add bit of water between palms to create a creamy texture to massage it to the skin, you can instantly feel all the goodness and the magic while getting rid off makeup. It comes with a double-sided muslin cloth, one is for delicate eye area and the other is more appropriate for exfoliating. What can I say I’m a huge fan of all-in-one type of products, BFF guaranteed if you’re also an occasional lazy gal when removing your makeup!

Hi, I’m Elif and I’m a foundation hoarder and I just can’t stop. Really though, I can’t – I’m always on the hunt for the next better one. On my recent trip to Sephora, I met the sweetest SA and he helped me try many foundations, but the Urban Decay’s Naked Skin Foundation was the one- it was love at first sight and touch. It felt so seamless and weightless, I just couldn’t resist. I absolutely love easy and buildable application and the semi-matte finish, which will be great for summer. I also got the concealer, but I will be reporting on that one later.

Bobbi_Brown_Blush_in_Peony

Love the colour, love the name! This Bobbi Brown blush in Peony  (really appreciating that name there, in case you couldn’t tell with the actual peonies that’s going on on the background) instantly became my second ultimate favourite blush, right after Mac’s Peach. Love that it’s matte and is a beautiful flush colour that gives me the fuzziest feeling about spring/summer. If you’re a lover of subtle pink blushes, check this one out- it’s a stunner!

Lancome’s newest launch- Juicy Shaker has got me absolutely excited since day one. Besides the whole idea behind it, I love this especially because it’s just fun… When I first saw this, it reminded me of those interesting looking Korean beauty products, and does feel a bit like that I must add- guess it’s the cushion, because it’s all about the cushion lately, baby! This again is a hybrid product- a love child of oil and lip tint- really nourishing, but also does add something something to your lips with that hint of colour.

I have been using these perfumes religiously throughout the year, but lately and especially this past month, I have been layering my perfumes and I’m loving it! I don’t know what it is about this specific Jo Malone scent, Wood Sage & Sea Salt, but it drives me insane *in a good way*- I’m terrible at describing scents but the sea breeze like freshness comes with a twist and that’s is sage, and I’m hooked for life! What makes Jo Malone perfumes even more interesting than their unique scents is that you can mix them with others. and I found that it compliments the Diptyque Eau Duelle – together they create the irresistible musky scent  and with Chanel Chance for a floral but definitely more out there mix.

So what do you think of my May favourites? Is there anything that catches your eye and tickles your fancy? I would love to hear what your most favourite products were during May!
