Starting off the spring with this gorgeous nail polish from the Dior Kingdom of Colours Spring 2015 collection. Meet Majesty, it’s spring in a bottle with CD initials on top.
Dior Kingdom of Colours Spring 2015 collection offers incredibly beautiful and all spring appropriate shades. It wouldn’t be exaggeration in any kind if I just say that I want everything from this collection, and for starters the limited addition nail polishes were dominantly high on my list. Dior Vernis in Majesty
(€ 24,50) was the one that I laid my eyes on since the very beginning. During autumn/winter I don’t enjoy anything else as I do having a monochrome life, but spring, it only means pastels, pastels, and pastels! And Majesty is the right kind for that.
If you tend to gravitate towards light pinks and peach shades, Majesty is the one to look out. Even though it is described as “rose bud pink”, I would say it is proper peach with pink undertone. As with these kind of shades you would normally question if the application is opaque enough. Compared to my other nail polishes that are similar to Majesty, I can definitely say it does an amazing job; it goes on flawlessly in two easy peasy coats, and there you have your gel shine nails. That is of course because of the impeccable formula but also because of the brush. A nail polish can make your life easier by just having a wide, flat and round tip brush, and Dior has it all. Last but not least, it is worth mentioning that I was not expecting the formula to be this long lasting (though I should be considering the price), after being hugely disappointed with the formula of Chanel nail polishes, which easily chips after day two- so this one came with a pleasant surprise. It lasted me around 1 week and that’s exactly what you should be getting from a nail polish.
My very first Dior nail polish is nothing but a one big happy successful purchase. I am absolutely in love with the shade, colour pay off, and that gorgeous packaging without a doubt.
What shades of nail polish do you enjoy wearing during spring? Have you ever tried any of the Dior nail polishes before?
