I haven’t done a beauty haul in a while and I think now it’s a good time to do so, as I collected quite a bit of luxe beauty to skincare products.
Don’t know about you but, I personally think that a good makeup lies in having a good skin. Every now
and again, I am excited to find a skincare product that will finally give me the relief that I am desperately looking for; to combat the dryness around my T-zone.
My current skincare routine does the job and I am happy with the results that I am getting. However, there are still times that my skin wants that extra “something-something”- there it is my constant attempt to find THE ONE. I managed to take the plunge to give the GlamGlow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment a try-
one of the most hyped skincare products in the blogging community. I can’t really report much as I haven’t used it enough, but I can say that it seems like a product that might be a cult step in my routine as I really enjoyed the during/after feeling.
Next up is this complete out-of-my-comfort-zone product that I was hesitating try for a good time-
The Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm. The reason why I was hesitating was mainly because I am one of those people “if it doesn’t foam, the makeup can’t be gone!” and also wasn’t really convinced by the idea of cleansing my eye-makeup with a balm (sensitive skin problems). Up until I came across the recommendation of Lisa Eldridge , and it was a game changer. The day I purchased the balm, I couldn’t wait any longer to give it a whirl… And bam! To say the least, I am not going back to foaming cleansers.
I simply adore Charlotte Tilbury and I am in constant awe by the creativity and the beauty of her makeup line. Beside the fact that I want to try literally everything from her line, I just wanted to start off with a staple product. The Filmstar Bronze & Glow is everything you heard and read, if not less, because everyone that loves makeup lover should definitely try this. I know it is not the cheapest but it is absolutely worth it. The moment I put my hands in this beauty, I spent a good amount of time just staring and appreciating the utter gorgeousness it (crazy-makeup-lady alert).
I like changing my base every now and then, even though I am currently obsessed with the L’Oreal True Match Foundation. The YSL Le Teint Touche Eclat was on my list for the longest, and it was about the time that I finally tick it off of my list. If you like dewy finish with a sheer to light coverage, you will like this one. I haven’t worn it enough to report thoroughly, but so far I just love it so much and how it makes my skin glow more than ever.
What have you purchased recently? Have you tried any of these products? Or would you ever consider trying them?
