New In is a series of posts, where I share my recent buys with you and try desperately rationalising my obsession with beauty products… This time I fell for a lipstick from Lipstick Queen and a face mask from Aesop.
Yesterday I mentioned that I went to Fin Du Jour in Ghent, where they have a good collection of brands that you can’t physically get in Belgium. As I am hesitant with buying beauty products without actually trying/swatching them I will be never 100% sure. So, it was my final call when I heard that they will be launching the Lipstick Queen products that I have been wanting to try.
After literally going through every single lipstick that they had there, I opted for the Butterfly Ball in Float. Butterfly Ball is a series of lipsticks that are sheer with a hint of shimmer. But there is a twist to it- the shimmer has subtle blue pearls that catches the light and looks incredibly unique, well at least I haven’t come across anything like this before. As it is highly moisturizing, it looks wet, which is perfect for me to have that lipgloss look without the hassle of it. I know that I will be wearing this like there is no tomorrow!
My second purchase was not a surprise for me and I jumped on the bandwagon of Aesop. I have been wanting to try their Parsley Seed Cleansing Mask. I heard so many good things about it and it would better work for me as it kind of broke the bank this month-sigh!
Thanks for reading!
