If it is not red and gold for the party season, then there has to be some glitter for me, at least! Here is my second festive looking nails for the season, be it for a Christmas party or New Year’s Eve, super simple but definitely chic.

If you have been around here for a while you might have realised already that I have something for nail polishes. I like doing my nails, a lot! And every now and again, I like to try something a little different- life is too short to have dull nails. As I am going with a theme for the sake of this month, I created this look with the idea of jazzing things up a little.

I used the Essie Chinchilly, a beautiful cool gray for as the base. After applying that two coats, I applied the Supernova from American Apparel, focusing only on the tips and applying couple of coats depending on how intense you want it to look. I don’t have many glitter nail polishes but this one from American Apparel is definitely my favourite as the colours are so pretty. Bare in my mind that it is an absolute hell to remove glitter nail polishes, so I would highly recommend not overkilling it. And as per always, I used the topcoat to secure the glitters and to achieve a smooth look.

Are you planning to do something “special” with your nails around Christmas time? Let me know what you think of this nail look down below.

Thanks for reading!

    • Thank you! 🙂 But it is one hell of a job to remove them, something I definitely hate doing haha!

  • So pretty! I adore that color.
