I like trying out new things with my nails and willing to put on any colour that catches my eyes. Essie has incredible range of colours and if you are not familiar with their nail polishes, they are worth spending a little bit more as they don’t chip easily and they are a lot easier to apply as they come with a wide brush although wide brush in a nail polish is a not a luxury anymore.
If you have been around here, you would have spotted that I have been wearing these colours religiously. Shades like Bikini So Teeny and Muchi Muchi are the ones that I mostly go in the spring/summer. Bikini So Teeny has to be my favourite shade of blue- it has a tiny bit of lilac hints in it and very subtle shimmer, that looks amazing with a little bit of tan. Muchi Muchi if not for on its own, I usually use it as base colour for some mani looks during autumn/winter as it is a very subtle light pink.
I use Blanc all year around, as I am a tad obsessed with snow white nails, which was super popular this last summer. It is incredibly opaque and a lot easier to apply compared to other snow white nail polished that I had tried before.
I love red nails, it is the ultimate timeless feminine look that you can achieve with a swipe. Russian Roulette is quite vibrant with orange undertones and just looks absolutely fabulous any time of the year. And the latest addition to my collection is the Chinchilly, an earthy gray, which is an ideal colour for me to have a little break from the red nails that I usually go for during autumn/winter.
What are your favourite shades from Essie?
