It’s crazy that Christmas is just around the corner! That means one thing: let the festive looks, mistletoes, reds and greens, and anything that is so Christmasy take over our lives for the whole month! If you are equally mad about the holiday season like I am, this nail look might be something for you to go for this season!

I just adore the look of half-moon manicure. It is just so feminine and looks unique too. If you have been around here then you’ll know that I just love playing around with nail polishes and try new things often. I couldn’t think of any better occasion than the upcoming holiday season to rock this look. It may seem a tad skillful but don’t let that put you off because it is so not hard to get this look.

To make my life easier, I used these nail art stickers to create the half-moon shape. You can however simply cut out your own shape out of anything, making sure that it sticks slightly so it is easier to apply the coats as it requires quite a few. First off, as a base colour I painted my nails with this gorgeous bronze nail polish from Essence in Steel-ing The Scene. One coat does the trick. Making sure that the first coat is completely dry, I placed the stickers closer to the nail bed and pressing to secure them. Following that, I applied one coat of Essie Russian Roulette, as it is quite opaque I didn’t need to go for a second coat. Here is the tricky part: you have to wait for a while to remove the stickers, if not, you might pull theΒ base colour and/or cause a not so sleek border between the two colours. To fancy things up (because why not) add little bit of shine and secure the colours together, I applied a top coat. Et voila, nails oh so festive!

This might be one of my favourite nail looks of all time! I will be putting up more nail looks to go with the upcoming holiday season, so make sure to keep an eye out for that. πŸ˜‰
