My Little Box October – Unboxing Haul

My-Little-Box-October-Diane-Von-FurstenbergMy Little Box just arrived yesterday and it is beyond beautiful! I must say it felt a lot like Christmas yesterday; opening the box and getting overly excited and happy… Oh, in case you missed it, it is a collaboration with Diane von Fürstenberg! You know, the one who re-vamped the classic wrap dress!

my-little-box-october-sephora-lip-ink-essence-redThis is my second beauty box from My Little Box and it seems like it keeps getting better! I couldn’t believe how good the content of the box and it that sense, it is definitely way better than the one I got in September. All the items are absolutely and personally on-point! I am usually worried over getting something that I can’t use much, but this is far from it; I can definitely use all of them with pleasure.

As per normal, the packaging and the presentation is just beautiful. I think the Diane von Fürstenberg touch just makes everything prettier. I loved the card that reads “Be the woman you want to be!”, I was waiting for this post to be up so that I could frame it and put it somewhere to get some motivational boost. The box also includes two items from Diane von Fürstenberg, a red lips pin (so cute) and a scarf with her heritage print. The scarf looks and feels expensive, very modern, and definitely something that I can style- loving the bold print!

On to the other exciting part of the box- the goodie bag. The bag contains three makeup products. First one is from their own line- My Little Beauty- and it is a makeup remover. The packing again is really adorable. One thing I realised compared to the last box is that they also added product descriptions in English, which is great for me as I don’t have to struggle anymore with trying to understand French. The makeup remover is 150ml and is definitely something I will be using a lot.

The second product was something new to me as I have not heard the brand before, l’Atelier Maquillage is a makeup brand that is suitable for both professional and personal use, and offers wide range of products to women and men of all shades and colours. I received their duo pen for eyes and brows, that can be used to define and highlight. My first impression was that it is absolutely a practical product, but I will review it in detail soon.

Last but definitely not least and for me the show stopper is the Sephora Lip Ink in Red Essence. I might have made some not so attractive sound effects once I saw this (woaaah)! Seriously, how amazing! I wanted to try Sephora’s lip products for the longest, but as we don’t have Sephora in Belgium buying lippies online is not something I would ever do without trying first. And for that very reason, this particular item in the box is just my favourite! The fact that I also received a discount coupon for Sephora gives me all the reason to make an online order soon! The lip ink reminded me of the Bourjois Lip Velvet, the formula applies like a lip gloss at first, then it becomes a matt lippie. The colour is something I definitely needed in my collection- a nice burned red with slight brown under tones, great colour for autumn.
Overall this month’s My Little Box was an absolute win! I can’t wait to try all these products and give my full-on review on them soon.

What do you think of this box? Are you also subscribed to a beauty box?

Thanks for reading!

  • wow, those look super fancy.. I don’t subscribe to any box, but even if I did, I don’t think I’d go for this one. I’m more interested in beauty and skincare 🙂 not much a fashion person or a perfume person…

  • Wow your box looked so much better than mine this month. Weird how much they vary! I was quite disappointed with mine, I thought there was a huge drop in quality compared to last months. Such a pity 🙁 xx

    • That’s also how I felt about the last month’s box when I saw other people got way better things. I decided to give it another go to evaluate my subscription but overall I am pretty pleased this month. I am curious now regarding what you received this month. Will you make a post about it? Because I couldn’t see it on your blog. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by! x
