My favourite time of the month has arrived again. This month I have little bit of everything; skincare, makeup and hair product. Perfect! Let’s begin then…
Toni&Guy Sea Salt Texturising Spray
I don’t use any styling products on my hair as I am pretty lazy with my hair, which is why this one is more like a rediscovery for me. It is pretty easy to apply; I use it while my hair is damp, apply it couple of pumps to go through more towards the ends, and the I put my hair in a bun for couple of hours then voila! This product helps me to achieve effortless loose curls without using lots of styling products or heat and helps to keep them in shape for about a day or two. Love it!
Caudelie Beauty Elixir
I am sure by now you heard all the hype over this product. But what is it really? I didn’t want to splurge it on the full size, so I went for the travel size. This part toner, part serum mist gives you a fresh and moisturized skin after applying on clean face. You can also apply on make-up, but I have not tried that as I would like to use it as a toner. I am already half way through the bottle, as I use it once or twice a day. The only thing I don’t like about it is the smell. It has a pretty strong scent, which I am not a big fan of. But as it works for me I don’t mind it anymore.
Bourjois Java Rice Loose Powder
This glows my friends! When I first tried it at my local drugstore I wasn’t keen on buying it as I didn’t want to go around like a disco ball. But then I decided to give it try. Oh, how I was wrong! At first it seems quite shimmery but when you apply it on your face, all it does is creating an illuminating finish on the skin. It sets the make-up really nicely, doesn’t create a cakey look/feeling as it is super light, and as it is transparent it is suitable for any skin tone. Right amount of shimmer goes perfectly. The smell is a bit too perfume-y for me, but not over-powering at all. Lastly, the cute packaging is super nostalgic, as this is recreated to celebrate Bourjois’ 150th birthday.
The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder
I truly love this powder and I am so obsessed with it. I have been using it every day for the entire month. Use it as a bronzer, use it for contouring, use it as a blush, but for whatever reason you will use it for you will love this. I picked up the lightest shade and it is perfect. I love the fact that it is not shimmery, so that you can use it for contouring. It has been become the absolute staple item for my every day make-up. Love it!
L’Oreal False Lash Telescopic Mascara
I got this mascara to use literally for the day that I realised that I didn’t have my beloved Lancome Hypnose mascara, which I thought it was irreplaceable. But little I know about this one. Oh my, it is amazing! The formula is super close to Lancome; quick drying, jet black mascara that doesn’t flake throughout the day. But why I instantly fell in love with the L’Oreal is because it separates my lashes oh so nicely that it is true its promise; it gives you the perfect dramatic false lash effect! For this price, I don’t think I will be going back to my all time favourite not very soon!
Clarins Natural Lip Perfector
I know I have featured this on my last monthly favourites post, but it has made it again. When it comes to lip glosses I am rarely over the moon, but Clarins’ lip perfector seems like they got it all. The formula is perfect for me as it is not sticky, the colour is on the nude side without any shimmer which allows you to use to boost your any lip product. It has become my favourite again, as it is such a go-to kind of lippie. Easy application, simple look, divine smell.
What do you think of my favourites?
Thanks for reading.
