June Favourites

Hello hello!

Here I am with my freshly picked June favourites.

Skin Care
No 7 Protect & Perfect Advanced Serum
I like to keep my skin care routine rather simple and hassle free. For some reason, I always thought that all the serums and oils were just the fuss. But now I am at this stage where you “OMG! Is that a wrinkle?”. So my friends, those carefree days are coming to an end  sadly and I decided to give it a try. But I wanted to get my hands on something more than a hype product. I heard a lot about No7 Protect & Perfect Advanced Serum. Actually in Belgium, I can’t get this product, but my very lovely brought me this all the way from London. So I was even motivated to give it a try. I have been using it religiously for 3 weeks already. Believe it or not, I can already see some tiny minor changes… Leave that aside, the feeling it gives you on your skin is just divine. Smooth as butter! I am more than pleased with it! Considering all the similar products on the market with triple the price, i think this is hands-down a bargain girls!

Clinique City Block Sheer 25 SPF
Not your ordinary sun screen! A lot more than a sun screen! It is oil-free, offers little bit of coverage for tho to rock minimum make-up during the summer. If not, you can use it as a perfect moisturising base for your make-up.

Chanel Perfection Lumiere Velvet Foundation
I like changing my foundation occasionally. Beside the change, I was on the hunt for a “tout le temps” kinda foundation.
Last month I had 1 hour to kill at the airport and I don’t even recall how many swatches I made but it was pretty intense. Long story in short… I have found the one! Right amount of coverage for me is light to medium, lasts me quite long, and it is indeed velvety and glory- perfect skin for the summer! The only thing I don’t like about Chanel foundations in general is that the colour range is rather limited. For now it is perfect match as I am slightly tan, but in the winter I will have to mix this with one tone lighter to achieve the exact match.

Essie Nail Polish Blanc
Do I need to say more? Simple yet elegant white nails… Perfection!

Clarins Eclat Minute Lip Perfector
This lip gloss has become my “go-to” favourite. I always carry it with me, as it is suitable for any occasion and any make-up look. Just the perfect nude gloss. I usually do not use lip-gloss as I tend to find them sticky and annoying. But Clarins’ lip perfector is not sticky whatsoever, has the right amount of shimmer and perfect sheen! I use “Nude Shimmer” and it smells jus divine!
